Biography
Born on 27 August 1989, he studied in Quetta, memorized the Quran, and went on to teach, earn advanced degrees, and serve his community.
Professor Hafiz Ubaidullah Noorzai was born on 27 August 1989. He received his early education in Quetta, memorized the Quran, and studied Tajweed.
His religious education continued at Darul Uloom Hyderabad, Sindh. He completed matriculation in 2007, then FA and BA, followed by an MA in which he earned first position at the provincial level and a gold medal.
He began teaching at Al-Hamd University in 2011 and led the Department of Islamic Studies. In 2015 he was appointed through the Balochistan Public Service Commission and lectured at Government Science College. He completed an M.Phil in 2018 and holds a PhD.
After the death of his father, Maulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani Noorzai, in 2012, he carried forward a family tradition of scholarship, community leadership, and service. Over the past decade he has taken part in about ten tribal reconciliations and in resolving community and family disputes.
He helps people with practical difficulties, including access to courts, hospitals, and educational institutions, and he supports young people who are seeking work. He does this together with religious and community leaders.
